Willowburn Bed and Breakfast
Just half a mile after you cross the Atlantic Ocean over the Clachan Bridge you will find the Willowburn, owned and run by Jan and Chris Wolfe. Standing in one and a half acres of garden leading down to the quiet waters of Clachan Sound, the Willowburn offers peace and quiet and comfortable homely rooms.

Our lounge looks down the garden and is a wonderful place to sit and relax in the peace and quiet. It's also a wonderful place to watch the world go by and the birds go about their daily quest for food. Small detail is brought into beautiful relief through the telescope at the picture window. You may see seals, the occasional otter, herons, oystercatchers, swans, curlews, and an assortment of small garden birds. Boats come and go with the tides and with them supplies of oysters, prawns or mussels to be taken to the fish market in Oban. The open fire brings warmth and contentment to the room and is a companion even if you are on your own. Our small library offers a wide range of information and there are board games and jigsaws to while away the evenings.

All our bedrooms also look down the garden and over the Clachan Sound. Looking east, you can waken to the sunrise and birdsong. As you pull back the curtains, the day stretches ahead of you waiting to be filled. Each room has comfortable beds, ensuite shower or bath, colour television, CD/clock radio, hairdrier, a kettle with tea, coffee, hot chocolate and shortbread, and some finishing touches to help you enjoy your stay. The heating in each room is independently operated, so you can have your room at the temperature you like.

Breakfast offers a choice each morning, with cereal, fruit juices, bottled and fresh fruits, fish and the traditional full breakfast.
