Overview

When you make a booking, you are agreeing to the following terms and conditions, so please read this information carefully.

  • The rental of the cottage begins at 4pm on the day of your arrival and ends at 10am on the day of your departure, unless otherwise agreed.
  • Prices are inclusive of bedlinen, towels, electricity, WiFi internet access, and full use of the facilities provided.

Making a Booking

  • When you make a booking request, we will check that there is availability on your requested dates, confirm the price for the booking period, and notify you that we have accepted the booking request.
  • When we accept the booking request, the booking is confirmed by receipt of your non-refundable deposit of 15% of the full cost, or payment in full if the booking is less that 6 weeks away. We reserve the right to cancel the booking if the confirmation payment is not made within 10 days of us accepting your booking request.
  • When you confirm the booking, you are agreeing to pay the full amount for the holiday rental period no later than 6 weeks before the start date of the rental period. You may wish to ensure that you have holiday insurance in place to cover this cost in case of cancellation.
  • We take a £200 security deposit that is returned when you leave the property in good condition. The security deposit may be used to cover the cost damage to the property during your stay (outside of normal wear and tear and small breakages, of course). The security deposit should be paid at the same time as you make the full payment for the booking, and is returned when you leave the property. In case of cancellation, the security deposit is always returned in full.
  • If you wish to cancel a confirmed booking, you should let us know as soon as possible. If we can re-let for the booked period at the full rate, a refund will be made, subject to deduction of an administration fee. In other circumstances, partial refunds will be made available at the our discretion.
  • You accept that should the cottage become unavailable or unsuitable for letting purposes subsequent to booking through any cause, our liability shall be limited to the amount of rent paid.

During Your Visit

  • Your use of the cottage is solely for the purposes of self catering holiday accommodation, and you accept our right to refuse entry to the property of any person considered unsuitable to take charge. We shall not be held responsible or liable for any accident, loss or mishap to persons or property whilst using the premises, or for any illness or injury arising from any cause whatsoever.
  • You agree to leave the property in a clean and tidy condition.
  • Except for normal wear and tear and small breakages, you agree to reimburse us for any breakages or damage during your stay. We may withhold some or all of the security deposit to help cover the cost of repair or replacement.
